MeiCord Onyx

Outstanding performance characterizes the optical Toslink cable MeiCord "Onyx", which was developed and manufactured in Germany.

The 5-fold polished and refined front surface of the optical fiber ensures perfect coupling and decoupling and, in turn, minimal light scattering at the transmitter and receiver.

A key component of lossless data transmission is preventing the light reflections that occur outside the core-centered transition between plug and socket.   In addition to the refined front surface, this is ensured by the deep black housing of the plug. Experience has shown that reflections are strongly absorbed by an absolutely black environment.

We therefore deliberately decided against metallic surfaces of the connector body that appear "high-end", as these have a negative effect on the light beam.

Low weight and an exact fit ensure a perfect fit in the socket over the long term.

The result is a crystal-clear, natural and breathtakingly authentic sound, even at high volume.
